Miri- An exclusive professional dinner and presentation, focusing on the groundbreaking advancements in therapeutic intervention for children with neurodisabilities, took place at the Imperial Hotel, Miri. This landmark event, held on the evening of 11 March 2024, Monday, convened esteemed guests from the healthcare sector.


The presentation, aptly titled “Advances in Therapeutic Intervention for Children with Neurodisabilities,” aimed to shed light on the latest research and developments in the field. It sought to foster a dialogue among professionals, stakeholders, and supporters on enhancing the quality of life and health outcomes for children affected by neurodisabilities.


Yang Berbahagia Cr. Kueh Chie Tiong was representing Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, YB Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang, alongside distinguished supporters from the SOP Foundation, Mr. Paul Wong Hee Kwong, and Mr. Eric Kiu Kwong Seng, also Director of Hospital Miri, Dr. Jack Wong Siew Yu, were present for the event. Such attendance further amplifies the importance of community and governmental support in healthcare advancements.


Representing the global commitment to this cause, the event hosted representatives from the Healthy Strides Foundation based in Perth, Western Australia – Dr. Dayna Pool, Victoria Wells, and Caitlyn Keron. Their participation underscores the international collaboration essential for driving forward innovative therapeutic interventions for children with neurodisabilities.
